In our initial free Zoom consultation, you can share what’s going on, ask your questions, and see whether hypnosis and coaching are the right fit for you. No pressure and no commitment.
If we decide to work together, I will create a plan around your goals. Sessions are centered on hypnotherapy. When appropriate, I may incorporate coaching, EFT, neuroscience principles, and mind-body approaches.
Each session includes conversation and hypnosis. I provide a customized hypnosis audio recording to help reinforce the work between appointments.
Procrastination, motivation, follow-through, self-sabotage, and patterns that keep pulling you back.
Worry, overwhelm, tension, stress responses, and feeling or being stuck in loops.
Emotional eating patterns, exercise motivation, health routines, follow-through, and mindset shifts that support more sustainable change.
Study skills, organization, test anxiety, presentations, English coaching, focus, communication, and performance pressure.
Self-doubt, the inner critic, imposter feelings, self-image, boundaries, and the quiet belief that you are not quite enough.
Racing thoughts, difficulty settling, bedtime routines, relaxation, and helping the mind and body shift toward rest.
If you are curious about hypnotherapy or wondering whether this might be right for you, these are some of the questions people ask most often.
Hypnosis is a focused, relaxed state. You remain aware and in control during hypnosis. You will not say or do anything you do not choose to say or do. Catherine guides the process, but you are always an active participant.
Most clients describe hypnosis as relaxing and focused. Some feel deeply calm, some feel quietly alert, and some simply feel like they are listening with their eyes closed. Each session also includes conversation and time to focus on your specific goal.
Sessions often include a combination of approaches. Coaching helps us clarify your goals, understand what has been getting in the way, and identify practical steps you can use in daily life. EFT, guided imagery, and other mind-body tools may also be included when they fit your goals. Hypnosis helps reinforce the inner patterns, beliefs, and responses you want to strengthen.
Hypnosis and coaching work with attention, relaxation, imagination, emotion, habits, and learned patterns of response. Catherine's approach draws on mind-body psychology and practical principles from neuroscience, grounded in her training at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, where she earned her A.O.S. in Mind-Body Psychology.
EFT tapping is a mind-body technique that combines focused attention with gentle tapping on specific points. It can be used to help clients work with stress, emotional intensity, limiting beliefs, and old patterns. When appropriate, Catherine may combine EFT with hypnosis and coaching as part of a personalized session plan.
Yes. Catherine works with clients on confidence, test anxiety, presentations, English coaching, communication, focus, motivation, and performance pressure. Her background as a college and university instructor, academic coach, and English coach helps support this part of the work.
Hypnotherapy and coaching focus on personal growth, habits, stress management, confidence, performance, and vocational or avocational self-improvement. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care, or psychiatric treatment. Catherine does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical or mental health conditions.
No. Many people begin with a general sense that something feels stuck, stressful, or ready to change. The free consultation gives us a chance to talk through what is going on and decide whether hypnosis and coaching feel like the right fit.
Clients of any religious tradition, or with no religious background, are welcome. Sessions can remain fully secular or include faith, prayer, or spiritual reflection when that feels appropriate to your goals.
It depends on your goal, your history, and what you want to change. Some clients come for a few focused sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. We can talk about what makes sense during your free consultation.
